Press articles and criticism of art:

-  Careful descriptor of real returns in his pictures a concrete vision of the  subject, taking forms, color and light in their existence. The  landscape remains immortalized in its moment, stabilized forever in its esistence, in the unrepetable moment with a particular combination of unique light and color. He  is able to preserve the initial emotion accompanied the shock of the  image, keeping it along the course that is completed in the transfer to the canvas,  where the brush uses the language of the heart also. Its  graphics and its engravings, even in portraits, are accurate records, marked by a  neat touch and a responsible gesture of the hand with a habit of classicism,  which also becomes his sign.

- The surrounding landscape, the one known in person, but also figured, dreamed, where detail, a particular, are able to give sensations of unusual depth.
The paintings of Corrado Germano feed atmospheres, suggestions, subtle nuances but acquiring through his eyes, meaning and value.
Secluded paths snow covered, river views, marine landscapes, isolated small boats, sails swelled by wind, fields and vineyards with rigorous geometry, stones and sumac of Karst: in the painting of Corrado Germano is described part of everything that surrounds us: a land rich and varied, never trivial, multi-faceted, that gives itself with innate simplicity. The author captures the essence with personal sensitivity and returns it to us with traditional style compositions, supported by an excellent drawing and a clear accuracy of perspective.
The color palette, applied skillfull, is depending on the season resumed, and goes from brown, ocher and saturated red of autumn, to the transparency of the spring, to the white, green and blue of the sea, imbued with that special light which illuminates this fascinating and mysterious Nort-East (of Italy).
During the nature observation, with ever renewed enchantment and surprise, emerges the attention of Corrado Germano not only for the real figure and image itself, but also for the sense of loneliness that such kind of positive visions can provide: the melancholy feeling that only silence, lived in religious contemplation, is able to rise from the heart and the mind.

- "Sweetness and Dispute" in the art on display at the Lepanto
From tomorrow and until August 31, the exhibition hall of Marina Lepanto in Monfalcone is hosting an exhibition entitled "Sweetness and Dispute", starring the artist Corrado Germano and the sculptor John Mark Nishantha. The vernissage will be held at 18, then the show will be open on Mondays from 10 to 12 and from 16 to 20, and from Tuesday to Sunday from 17 to 20. The event is organized in collaboration with the Pro Senectute, the circle G. Mazzini Endas and Marina Lepanto. Corrado Germano, born in Molfetta and citizen of  Monfalcone, has always shown an interest in art, but only when he retired he was able to apply himself to painting continuously. Looking at his works we see the path of study currently improved, which led him to analyze and capture on canvas different contexts all belonging to our territory. On the one hand, there are the marine environments, in the other: fields, Karst and the mountains. The figurative paintings show the emotions felt by the artist seen in the places, imprinted with pleasant color combinations never too noisy. Through his paintings, the artist returns a concrete and realistic vision of the landscapes observed, usually full of light and quiet to better inspire him. In his paintings we find boats, ancient paths, stone walls that make it more natural glimpses depicted. Corrado Germano was recently among the protagonists of "Art Week" in St. Petersburg, where some of his works have been awarded. Had also several solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The Sweetness of the works of Germano joins the Dispute and protest that emerges by the sculptures of the young John Mark Nishantha, a native of Sri Lanka, formed in artistic studies at the University of Colombo. Between the sculptures show, there will be busts with feet shackled, women prisoners and other subjects and objects from which it's transmitted the desire to break free, to counter wealth and hypocrisy that sometimes keeps people in chain in the "Western World". Despite his young age, has already received the prestigious awards, he has also participated in several group and solo. The exhibition is in Marina di Lepanto, in Monfalcone; the Marina has also several facilities and services for the marine industry and entertainment: there are a swimming pool, conference room, clubhouse and restaurant.
